A very fine set of two antique plates by K. Aynsley & Co. Ltd., established in 1869, made of ironstone (very durable fine earthenware) in England circa 1950. Blue and white decoration depicting a superb hunting scene on horseback in front of an English manor house, surrounded by a rich floral frieze in deep blue. Excellent condition, no cracks or chips, although I note a small firing defect on the underside of one plate (see photos). Diameter: 21cm.
