Vase Faiencerie Héraldique Pierrefonds

Rare vase from the heraldic pottery of Pierrefonds (ceramic factory established in 1903). Made of Pierrefonds stoneware with blue-grey glaze drips and incredible crystallisation effects. Art Nouveau style, early 20th century. Hand-painted decoration of a bird in pink tones. This vase could date from the 1920s, during the time when the pottery hosted three ceramic painters (to be confirmed). Signed: signature with a medieval helmet surrounded by the initials FH for heraldic pottery above the mention Pierrefonds. In beautiful vintage condition (see photos). Height 20 cm, neck diameter 8.5 cm, base diameter 10 cm.
