Ancient large wall plate in ceramic/terracotta with relief decoration representing "La Sardana", the famous traditional Catalan dance. Beautiful vintage Catalan handmade ceramic from the 1950s, in the Mid Century regionalist style, featuring dancing figures in front of a village and bell tower. Signed piece, to be identified, at the bottom of the decoration. Old handmade production: Turned base with visible concentric marks, Old wire hanging system on the back. Beautiful "bronze" patina. Diameter: 28.5 cm. Generally good vintage condition with minor signs of use and age. Very decorative for vintage interiors, regionalist themes, or collections of Catalan ceramics. Careful shipping.
