Old Indian window

This carved shutter with a single large flap comes from rajasthan. There are two prominent sculptures at the upper corners, in the form of the traditional inverted flower buds. The iron closure is original and typical, as are the nails, mostly placed in the center of carved flowers with four petals. The frame is entirely carved with geometric patterns. This pane probably adorned one of the openings of a rajasthan haveli. This object is an old piece whose use was daily. Traces of his past are present; this is the beauty of the ancient.
