Art Ceramic Jug – Honey Glazes, Cyclops - Vallauris Style

Add a brutalist and organic touch to your decor with this superb ceramic jug from the 1950s-1960s. This piece stands out with its spectacular glazing in honey, caramel, and amber hues. Its highly pronounced textured relief decor, often referred to as "sea foam" or "Fat Lava" effect, perfectly mimics volcanic rock or marine concretions. It features an elegantly undulating neck and a textured organic handle. A bold, warm, and distinctly modernist style, characteristic of the famous Cyclope pottery (created by Charles Cart in Annecy) or the spirit of the Vallauris workshops of the same era. Overall in very good condition. The blistered glaze is typical and raw. Note a very slight usage irregularity at the base (visible in the detail photos), with no impact on the solidity or aesthetics of the piece. Dark glazed interior.
