Large dining table of the famous designate Marc Held. The latter is responsible for designing a social centre and a corporate restaurant for the ibm factory in the lande montpellier. He proposes to turn to the existing buildings and install a "square", a cloister of serenity, around a large patio. This set is derived from the refectory of this center, it is a unique commission and a prestigious construction site that is offered to marc held. The six-seat table consists of a satin white laminated tray, surrounded by massive beech with four intersections to insert the chairs. The footing is made of turned solid beech and matte black plated steel, with a black crossbar. L: 205cm h: 72cm p: 78cm. This process of fabrication will be used for the private apartments of the president of the republic françois mitterrand, at the elysée palace. Only 60 tables and 300 chairs will be produced by the carpentry bessiére (yvelines). Bibliography marc held, montpellier la lande l'equerre.
