Desk by Carlo Pagani for Metz & Co. 1950s

A rare table with under shelf that can also function as a desk. It was designed for the dutch retailer metz & co circa 1950s by italian designer carlo pagani. The distance between the floor and the white shelf is 62.5cm. Literature: in petra timmer's book 'metz & co., de creatieve jaren, 1995, the table/desk is photographed within the metz & co showroom. The glass is original to the table but does have overall scratching from regular use.
