Renovated coffee table, Poland, 1960s

A renovated coffee table from the times of the people's republic of poland. Table top veneered with walnut with a very nice grain pattern. Square tapered slanted legs made of beech wood. The piece of furniture was cleaned of the old thick varnish, and secured with hard oil, which emphasized the veneer pattern and at the same time protected the table against damage by flooding with water or alcohol and made it insensitive to hot coffee or tea cups. Table top size 95cm X 45cm, height 52cm.
