During the 1960s, to compete with Danish imports, G-Plan leaned towards Scandinavian-style furniture design, collaborating with designers like Kofod-Larsen. The Fresco range, designed by V B Wilkins, was heavily influenced by Scandinavian design with clean lines, minimal ornamentation and a warm teak veneer showing the grain. This is the Fresco large extending dining table. The table top is teak with wonderful wood grain, with darker teak edging. The table extends by using a concealed butterfly leaf. It can seat 6 people, 8 at a push. We would be happy to source suitable dining chairs if required. Size. Extended width 209cm. Unextended width 163cm. Depth 112cm. Height 74cm. Condition: Very good Mid-Century condition with only minor signs of age and use. Structurally solid. Any damage, however minor, is always noted in the description.
