Armchairs with armrests, 1960s, set of 2

A pair of rationalist office chairs from the 1960s. The structure is made of stained beech with square lines and simple yet sturdy joints. The backrest and seat are padded and covered in original red fabric. The functionalist design is evident, with straight armrests and a geometric structure, reminiscent of certain productions inspired by the Bauhaus or Italian designers such as Mario Botta, Gavina, or Anonima Castelli. They are office chairs, suitable for waiting rooms or meeting rooms, but could also be incorporated into a living area in a domestic setting. They show some signs of wear on the structure, so it is recommended to restore the wooden parts and completely refurbish the upholstered sections.
