Grand Sunburst wall mirror in brutalist style, made of cut, worked, and welded metal, probably in Europe around the 1960s-1970s. The composition is organised around a central circular mirror, surrounded by a significant crown of long, irregular, overlapping metal spikes. Their radiant arrangement alternately evokes a sun, flames, or long stylised leaves. The metal has a dark patina, with shades of brown, black, and oxidised bronze, punctuated by irregularly applied golden highlights on certain tips and welding areas. These contrasts particularly highlight the sculptural character and depth of the mirror. The craftsmanship is deliberately expressive: irregular cutouts, traces of welding, and surface variations remain visible and fully contribute to its brutalist aesthetic. The execution appears to be the result of artisanal or workshop work, rather than industrial production.
