Splendid and authentic globe vase from the Art Deco period (1920-1930) made of blown glass and wrought iron. The glass has been hot-blown directly inside an elegant hammered wrought iron cage with dot patterns, creating superb bulges ("bulbous effect") that are perfectly executed. This technique is characteristic of the prestigious productions of the Daum Nancy house in collaboration with the ironworker Louis Majorelle or the Lorraine subsidiary. Art Deco period (1920s / 1930s). Excellent overall condition. The glassware shows no cracks, chips, or restorations. The wrought iron mount is perfectly sound, stable, and displays its original patina without any pitting corrosion. No visible signature under the base or on the neck. The quality of execution alone testifies to a remarkable glassmaking know-how from the Nancy school. Ideal for collectors of 20th-century glassware or to add a bright and vintage touch to your interior decor.
