Paul Jouve (1878-1973) Soldier Seeing the Panther, c. 1949. Original etching (Haasen workshop) Unsigned. On vellum, 32.5 X 25 cm. INFORMATION: Etching created for the portfolio "A Passion in the Desert" (Cottet-Dumoulin edition, 1949). This is a rare trial proof in black. A similar copy is in the collection of the Maison Balzac in Paris. Excellent condition.
