Mid-century ceiling lamp or wall lamp by Solken-Leuchten, Germany 1960-1970

This remarkable and very elegant ceiling was made by solken-leuchten. Solken-leuchten started in 1950 as josef sölken gnbh & co kg leuchtenfabrik and was a family business. It became a large lamp manufacturer under the name solken-leuchten in arnsberg, germany. The ceiling lamp has a raised edge of gold color in which the glossy milky glass dome is fixed by 3 beautiful round screws. The ceiling lamp is equipped with 2 e 27 connections and is suitable for the european, british and american electrical network. The diameter of the ceiling plate is 29.5 cm. The total height of the ceiling lamp is 18 cm. It is in good condition and functioning. The metal ceiling plate has a slight patina due to the age of the item.
