Cool floor lamp in a design attributed to Louis Kalff, chief designer at Philips from the 30s to the late 60s. I'm not entirely sure that's his job though. It could also be that the lamp was manufactured by Herda, which is also a Dutch company. It's sort of a typical space age lamp, with its combination of a white metal frame and an orange lampshade with a touch of chrome. It is in excellent condition. What should be mentioned is some wear on the paint, visible on the base and a small part of the vertical arm. All imperfections are clearly indicated in the photos. The lamp is almost 140 centimeters high, the lampshade has a diameter of 29 centimeters (almost 12"). The round base has a diameter of 23 centimeters (about 9"). The lamp is suitable for a standard E27 bulb, 60W max or LED. Wiring suitable for 110 V and 220 V networks, taken in accordance with European specifications.
