Art Deco plateau, botanical engraving decor

Tray, Art Deco period in wood. Inside is a botanical engraving, print, Castena Sativa, under glass. Drawing by Carlos von Riefel, Austrian botanical artist specialising in painting fruits and flowers. Vintage print sold as is. While the cream-coloured background shows some marks, the colours of the chestnuts and foliage are vibrant. The tray, also period, has some marks related to its age. The details have been photographed; the whole is entirely original and charming. External dimensions: 52.2/33.2cm, height 4cm. Internal dimensions: 38.8/28.5cm.
