Mid-century dark blue denim armchair, Europe, 1960s

Chair type A5828. Commonly referred to as "heart". Designed by Helena and Jerzy Kurmanowicz. Produced in the Radomsko woodworking factory in the 1960s and fully renovated. The construction is made of water-stained beech wood in a brown colour and protected with a satin-effect acrylic varnish. Upholstery fabric produced with Clean boo technology, featuring water-repellent properties that limit liquid absorption. Seats covered with high-quality denim fabric in mixed colours with 6 options available. The denim is recommended for public buildings and private interiors, certified Oekotex and fire-resistant according to the French standard NF P 92-507 (classified M1).
