Roche bobois bookcase in smoked plexiglass, 1970s

Roche bobois bookcase in smoked brown plexiglas made by french designer michel ducaroy (1925-2009). The set is composed of four brushed aluminum studs, seven shelves and a box opening by two doors and can take the function of bar. Everything is modular, both in height and positioning. This modular shelf can also be used as a room divider. This double-sided bookcase can be put in the middle of a room and not necessarily against a wall. Variable height: up to 256 cm. Width: 222 cm. Depth: Shelves: 23 cm. Bar cabinet: 36 cm. Michel ducaroy: a new vision of design. Born into a family of industrialists who created contemporary furniture, michel ducaroy trained at the école des beaux-arts in lyon. He is very early attached to the roset company which then develops rapidly by offering him a place of choice in research and proposals that will affirm the brand.
