Vintage enfilade with tapered legs by SAM

Buffet with 3 sliding doors from the Auxiliaire du Meuble Company (S.A.M), 1950s. An iconic manufacturer of French modernist furniture. Sideboard from the "Demi-siècle" series, a famous collection by the maker, notable for its design; streamlined lines, high tapered legs, geometric proportions, and brass handles covered with scoubidou wire. Sideboard in oak and light oak veneer. Opens with 3 sliding doors. The left space is independent, partitioned, equipped with 2 removable shelves. The right and centre doors lead to a large space with a mid-height, adjustable shelf. The shelves are made of 15 mm thick wood with a finish identical to the exterior wood. The sides have an asymmetrical shape and the front corners are generously rounded. Scandinavian legs, tapered, made of wood. They form a block on the left and one on the right to ensure a solid and robust support. S.A.M stamp inside the furniture. Assembly instructions are readable on the back of the buffet. Easy disassembly with Roman head screws. Vintage Scandinavian-style sideboard in very good condition, practical and functional, in its original state. There are slight colour variations, normal signs of age. Dimensions: 176 cm wide, 102 cm high, 45 cm deep. Height of the top: 94 cm. Left shelves: 54x32 cm. Heights between shelves from top to bottom: 21/20/19.5 cm. Right shelf: 112 x 32 cm. Positioned at mid-height with the possibility to raise by 7 cm or lower by 7 cm. Interior height of the cabinet: 66 cm.
