This candy maker from the 60s, is a witness to the extraordinary creativity of the atelier dieulefit, which offered in the twentieth century among the most beautiful pieces of french ceramics. This work is the best example of this. Jacques pouchain (1925-2015), who founded the art ceramic workshop in 1959, designed a set where color and lines harmonize in the most beautiful way. Ecru tending on the brown, quite uniform, the patina of this candy is also embellished with geometric lines as so many scarified patterns on a background of brown jaspered enamel, quite elegant on the perimeter of the receptacle while the lid is equipped with a pretty shape also of inverted receptacle very design. In perfect condition, without a hitch or crack, this work will delight aesthetes.
