Large centrepiece in earthenware, hand-painted: Jules Verlingue workshop

Large centrepiece in earthenware, hand-painted, made by the Jules Verlingue workshop in Desvres, France. Creation from the late 19th century. A spectacular piece in fine earthenware richly decorated, consisting of a central vase resting on a sculptural base formed by two facing dragons, supporting three trilobed bowls. The whole is distinguished by a very refined polychrome decoration combining floral bouquets, animated lakeside landscapes (boats, architecture) and scrolls. Height 39cm. Signature under the base.
