Vintage sisal hanging lamp by Temde Leuchten, 1965

Beautiful hanging lamp designed by Temde Leuchten in the 1960s. A characteristic example of Swiss Mid Century lighting, featuring a hand-woven sisal shade, teak wood details, and a plexiglass diffuser that provides a warm, diffuse light. The combination of natural materials and clean geometry makes this lamp particularly attractive. The lamp is in neat vintage condition. The sisal shade and plexiglass elements have been well preserved. The lamp comes with the original teak ceiling cap with pull mechanism. One metal support was once damaged but has been firmly repaired and is functional. This is hardly noticeable when the lamp is hanging.
