Mid-century cocoon floor lamp, 1960s

Vintage design. Rare mid-century cocon with a distinctive umbrella pattern. The drum-shaped lampshade is mounted on a slender metal rod and can be adjusted in height, offering a changing appearance and lighting effects. The rod transitions into a black-painted base. The special feature is the graphic umbrella pattern, inspired by Achille Castiglioni, with a monochrome design of squares and circles that play with light and shadow. The umbrella with a polished metal disc completes the design as a glare shield.
