Small canvas, exotic painting

Small vertical painting amateur work, fine canvas nailed to stretcher, distended. The surface of the painting is patinated and allows the canvas to show through in certain areas. Represents a woman in an african village with a basket of fruit on her head and a small dog at her feet. Signed lower right, partly altered. Dimensions: 20 X 45.5 cm.
