Ole Wanscher Armchair Model 1675 for Fritz Hansen 1942

Classic and early armchair designed by ole wanscher in 1942 for fritz hansen denmark. It is stamped underneath the seating with fh. The chair has a walnut frame and it still has the original light brown/cognac leather upholstery, which has a fantastic patine. Very elegant chair and superbly crafted. Beautiful combination of the individual elements, including the curved armrests, the spindle back and the bent back legs. Ole wanscher's modern classics are still revered for their detail and his deep respect for materials. The chair is in very good original condition with a lovely patine. No damages.
