Stunning “le bambole” two seater sofa designed by mario bellini for b & b italia in the 1970s. A beautiful edition in high quality coral velvet with a nice soft touch adding to this comfortable and “chunky” design. Besides the outstanding comfort this iconic sofa is famous for its timeless looks. The ‘le bambole’ collection was awarded the 1979 ‘compasso d’oro’ award. An example of le bambole is included in moma’s permanent collection. Dimensions: w178 X d98 X h72 cm. Period: 1970s. Condition: very good and original.
