Living Room Suit Model Plexus in oak by Illum Wikkelsø for CFC Silkeborg, 1960

The living room suit consists of three Plexus series chairs in original wool upholstery, designed by Illum Wikkelsø in the 1950s and produced by CFC Silkeborg. This set of Plexus easy chairs features a frame in oak and cushions filled with goose down upholstered with original wool by C.F. Christensen in Denmark. Manufacturers sticker preserved. The Plexus series was designed to be taken apart and combined into larger sets, e.g., two Plexus chairs to make a sofa, etc., which enabled easier shipping and modular use. The set we present is the most attractive, a 2 seater sofa and one lounge chair. The final setup will be up to you, though. The set is in great condition with only minor signs of use. The fabric has survived almost intact, which is a miracle for such a bright color. We leave minor, natural signs of use though, that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm it is originality.
