Ilmari Tapiovaara Pirkka Dining Table for Laukaan Puu Finland 1950s

Large dining table, model pirkka, designed by ilmari tapiovaara in the 1950s for laukaan puu. The table is marked underneath the top with the original laukaan puu label. It has a solid pine top and black lacquered birch frame/legs. It has the typical 'tapiovaara' split-top separated by visible dowels. The table is in very good original condition. Only little traces of use. Some loss of lacquer at the bottom of the legs.
