Iron earth tureen Rinceaux GIEN Art Nouveau

Intermediate sized iron tureen tureen by Gien circa 1900. Delicate and figurative sigh belonging to the scroll service, the shape of this tureen suggests a pumpkin with decorative handles wrapped in undulating foliage. The shape of this tureen is reminiscent of the undulating shapes and scrolls specific to the art nouveau style. Condition: in good general condition for purely aesthetic and decorative use. Two cracks, one of which is larger vertically, shows a repair that remains very solid. Crack that can be cleaned. Dimensions of the tureen: Height with lid - 14 cm - 5.5 in.
