Set of 4 'Latjes' chairs by Ruud Jan Kokke for Metaform 1986

Beautiful set of 4 'latjes' (=slats) dining chairs designed by ruud jan kokke in 1986. These particular chairs are manufactured by metaform. They were the second producer, the first little production run was by hubbers. This highly acclaimed chair is included in the collection of various museums, including the stedelijk museum in amsterdam. The chairs have an oak wood frame and the slats are made of tough and flexible ash wood. Elegant, sophisticated and minimalist at the same time. Fantastic set! The chairs are in very good condition. Only minimal traces of use. The matching dining table is also available, listed as another item.
