Art Deco bedside console in wood
Here is an elegant piece of solid wood furniture that embodies all the codes of the Art Deco period, with octagonal tops, grooved legs, molded lengthwise, and this lovely round pattern on each side. It probably dates back to the 1930s. Console, side table, or nightstand, we ultimately don't need to name it precisely as this piece can find numerous uses in a home and even change rooms and purposes according to your desires. It is in generally good condition, solid, and stable, but obviously, it does not hide the marks of time and use: various marks on the tops that are not excessively visible, even less so when objects are placed on them (some photos are overexposed to make the marks more visible), and it has undergone repairs over time: added screws and a small board under the lower top. It also has quite a few woodworm holes, which seem inactive to me, but I have still treated the whole piece with injection and brushing of white vinegar, which is my natural method to replace chemical insecticides. This piece measures 60 cm in height, 35 cm in width and depth, with the lower top at 16 cm in height.
