17th century huguenot style mirror "huguenot mirror known as cevenols mirror with double bottom, which was used to hide "bibles"..."sermons"..."psalters" or any other protestant books then prohibited at that time. It conceals a " hiding place" which can only be discovered by turning it. Louis XIII style 17th century. This model is made of oak wood. Dimensions: height: 40cm / 15.7" length: 32 cm / 12.6" very good condition.
