Very beautiful set of 8 Airport model 037 chairs, with an iconic design from the 1970s, attributed to Hans Kaufeld for Geoffrey Harcourt. This set is appealing due to its very graphic and sculptural lines: enveloping arc backrest, round seat upholstered in black faux leather, and tubular chrome metal structure. A design that is both airy, minimalist, and very comfortable, ideal around a large dining table or in a vintage, modernist, or space age style interior design project. The set is in generally good vintage condition, with signs of use consistent with its age. The black faux leather is not original but in very good condition. Some signs of wear: Presence of oxidation and visible wear under certain seats at the metal level (see photos). These chairs will easily find their place in a modern or vintage interior.
