Flip-Top Desk, designed by Jens Quistgaard for Peter Løvig Nielsen, Denmark. This is a top example of the mid century danish design movement. The special feature of this desk is, that the upper shelf is hinged and can be converted to a larger working-tabletop. Hence the name: Flip-Top! There is now space enough for 2 people. Frontside of the desk shows 4 drawers. The top shelf has several compartments with 2 open drawer-boxes. On the backside are 3 open compartments. The desk is executed in oakwood. Labeled with Lovig Stamp and year of manufacture underneath. Very good condition. All the chairs which are shown, are not part of this offer.
