Old curved wood and blue velvet bar stool

Very nice curved wooden bar stool, in the spirit of thonet. The solid wood structure is solid and in good condition. We notice the signs of wear of many years of service, which gives it an exceptional patina! The original seat was damaged, it was covered with a blue velvet fabric, surrounded by brass nails and covering 2 layers of foam for more comfort. This finish gives it a colorful and modern note, with a contrast between the blue and the maarron of the wood quite striking. This stool is totally in the spirit of bistro furniture of the early twentieth century. It will be ideal as a booster seat for a countertop or kitchen island.
