Sculptural blown glass bowl, mid-century.

A spectacular piece of mid-century design: a large mouth-blown glass bowl, in the spirit of 1960s Murano glassworks. Its long, stretched points rise like a flower or a starfish, giving the object a true sculptural presence. The thick glass, worked in a gradient, transitions from a bright lime green at the centre to a copper amber and deep brown at the tips. Light passes through it, revealing a depth of colour typical of the golden years of Italian glass. A sculpture-like object as loved in 1960s interiors, it pairs perfectly with Scandinavian furniture, a teak sideboard, or a curated contemporary interior. As a centrepiece on a table, on a console, a sideboard, or a coffee table, it becomes the focal point of the room. It can also serve as a fruit bowl or a decorative catch-all. In very good condition with some scratches under the base.
