The description: This handcrafted piece is a true celebration of French heritage, combining a sturdy solid oak structure with a unique chestnut top. The top is distinguished by an assembly of four solid boards: two wide pieces on the outside framing two thinner boards in the centre, creating a very architectural visual rhythm. I have aged the top in a charming way to give it this "washed" appearance, as if bleached by time, which highlights the authenticity of its rustic roots. The table is currently in raw wood, revealing a beautiful grain and texture. I can leave it as is so it continues to develop a patina and "tell your story" over meals, or I can apply a professional matte varnish for you to protect the wood while maintaining this organic and clear look. Designed with traditional mortise and tenon joints, this table is built to last for centuries. It is an honest piece of furniture, heavy and with a true soul. Capacity: Perfect for 8 to 10 guests.
