Pitcher with Earthenware lid Tenera series by Berte Jessen for Aluminia

The tenera series was designed in the late 1950s by nils thorsson (1898-1975) for aluminia, whose name disappeared in 1969 to make way for that of royal copenhagen. The sets in this series were designed by other artists. Thus this pitcher with earthenware lid, whose decoration is due to the danish artist berte jessen. The pitcher is marked under the base "434" for the décor created in 1962 and "3143" for the shape created the same year. The small cross under denmark's "e" indicates that it was produced in 1964. It is in good condition, except for a few small enamelling defects that are original.
