Elephant crystal catchall from Vannes, 1960s/70s.

I am offering this moulded crystal pocket tray featuring an elephant, made by the Vannes-le-Châtel glassworks. The raised trunk forms an elongated line, while the hollow body allows for the placement of jewellery, keys, or small items. It can also be displayed as a decorative object. This model is also referenced as an ashtray or pipe rest according to period advertisements. Marked Art Vannes France underneath the piece. It is in good used condition, with no chips or cracks.
