Superb complete ceramic coffee service from Vallauris (Côte d'Azur, France), dating from the 1940s-1950s, stamped 'P.P.P. Vallauris France H.44' under each piece – a guarantee of authenticity and provenance. The set consists of a coffee pot with its lid (height 21 cm), a sugar bowl with lid, a cream jug, and six cups with their saucers, making a total of 15 pieces brought together in a remarkable chromatic coherence. The shapes are resolutely Art Deco: elevated square bases, pronounced angular lines, and geometric handles give this set a sober and structured elegance, typical of Vallauris production from that era. The flambé glaze is the true jewel of this service: an intense and deep cobalt blue dominates, enhanced by brown and chocolate tones, delicate white lace-like drips, and touches of ochre yellow. Each piece is unique, a result of the unpredictable magic of kiln firing – an incomparable artisanal character. Overall condition very good: bright glazes, harmonious and coherent chromaticity across all pieces. A rare collectible item, combining table art and ceramic heritage from the South of France. Ideal for enthusiasts of French folk art, Provençal ceramics, and Art Deco design. Total weight: 4 kg.
