The design depicts a profusion of stylized chinar leaves in autumnal tones—emerald green, mustard yellow, saffron orange, and bluish gray—on a finely ornamented gold background. An elegant reddish-brown trunk unfolds in the center, reminiscent of the emblematic tree of Kashmir. Crafted using the traditional Kashmiri papier-mâché technique, this piece combines delicate design, brilliant varnish, and a light material. Each leaf is meticulously outlined by hand, giving the piece a refined relief and remarkable depth of color. 🪶 Characteristics: • Material: Hand-painted lacquered papier-mâché. • Origin: Kashmir, India. • Decoration: Chinar leaves. • Diameter: 37 cm. • Period: circa 1970-1990. • Condition: Very good condition, beautiful shine, no chips.
