Sculptural Relief Wall Art Lamp with Agate Slices, West-Germany 1960s
This high-quality brutalist relief-style wall light was hand-crafted by a German metalsmith artist during the 1960s. Three fine translucent agate slices are fixed by copper brackets onto the sculptural wrought copper casing. Its surface features an abstract relief-like decor. The sculptural copper structure covers a glass panel and the neon tube which is carried by an integrated frame. Two slits at the bottom edge of the casing serve as additional air and light slits. This vintage piece is in excellent original condition with only slight traces of use. It is in working order. It features a neon tube with the original switch.
