Armchair and pouf Cassina Cannaregio - Gaetano Pesce

Armchair and its matching footrest, Cannaregio model, designed by Gaetano Pesce and produced by Cassina. Presented at the Milan Furniture Fair in 1987, the Cannaregio takes its name from the Venetian district where Pesce spent his summers. The principle of the collection: a family of ten independent elements, all with different shapes, volumes, and colours, that can be freely assembled, with the armrest completing the composition on the right or left. The rejection of symmetry and matching is the very subject of the piece. Its visual signature: the wavy profile of the backrest, like a wave. This is the version with a simple armrest, accompanied by its footrest. Anthracite backrest, orange armrest, mustard yellow seat and pouf. Plywood structure, polyurethane foam padding, fully removable fabric covers. Original label "Cassina — Made in Italy" sewn inside the cover, with a second reference label for fabric AE 03 (photos available in the listing). Good used condition, consistent with the age of the piece. Fabrics are clean, with no tears or stains. Light seating marks and covers naturally relaxed in places — they are removable and can be cleaned or replaced. Firm foams, no sagging. No structural damage. Collection in person possible in Dijon.
