4 Dutch brutalist chairs (circa 1950-60) These 4 chairs, made entirely of solid oak, were manufactured in the Netherlands in the 1950s-60s, as indicated by their brutalist aesthetic and the stamp found under the seat of each chair ("Nederlands Fabrikaat"). Their lines are reminiscent of the creations by designers Robert Guillerme and Jacques Chambron, while their modernised mountain design foreshadows the construction of major high-altitude resorts designed in the 60s, such as Les Arcs by Charlotte Perriand. Very robust and perfectly stable, they offer genuine seating comfort. The wood has a beautiful patina that will add character to a contemporary interior, with its well-defined grain and warm hue. ℹ️ Very good overall condition considering their half-century of existence. No particular defects to report. Structurally very solid; beautiful patina (signs of use and small scratches in the varnish in places). The photos allow you to purchase with full knowledge of the condition. 📦 Collection in person is preferable due to the weight of the chairs, or delivery by a carrier via Selency. Total height: 102 cm. Seat width: 43 cm. Seat depth: 47 cm. Seat height: 45 cm. Approximately 15 kg per chair.
