Italian wall light with two arms, circa 1970–1980. Two thick, textured glass shells face each other, resembling an opening seashell. Each rests on a twisted brass arm, attached to a polished oval brass plate. The glass features a "rugiadoso" texture with dewdrop patterns, reminiscent of the famous Murano shell sconces. When lit, it emits a soft, sparkling light; when off, it resembles a true frosted glass sculpture. Originating from a private home in Monteroni di Lecce, in the Salento region of Apulia. Characteristics. Origin: Italy, circa 1970–1980. Materials: textured moulded glass, brass, dark-finish brass cups. Lighting: 2 E14 sockets, European wiring 220–240 V Sold individually, bulbs not included.
