Art Nouveau bench in fruitwood with marquetry. Charming two-seater bench from the Art Nouveau period, made of fruitwood and richly adorned with marquetry featuring plant motifs. Its slightly curved backrest, embellished with an elegant floral marquetry design, harmoniously matches the two central supports, which are also inlaid with stylised motifs and oval medallions. The backrest with fine vertical slats, the curved armrests, and the elegantly arched legs give this bench a light and refined silhouette, characteristic of French productions from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The seat and backrest are upholstered in a recently redone red fabric, highlighted by traditional studding that showcases the quality of the cabinetmaking. The piece offers excellent comfort while serving as a decorative item of great charm.
