Description
Oval dish, in iron earth, from the large deposit of porcelain and earthenware, signed e. Bourgeois. Very pretty earthenware, blue color, with a pattern representing different scenes of nature. The large depot, and its branch, were directed by emile bourgeois. He bought models to the taste of his customers in large earthenware and crystal factories (french) before selling them in stores. He was the great initiator of this concept (19th). This stamp was used from 1863 to 1918. Beautiful object, without brilliance, patinated at will with its pretty brown colors. Also note some scratches of use as well as a crack at the edge (see photos).
