After mohammed temmam (1915-1988) Algerian school. Fine earthenware dish, slightly twisted circular shape, with polychrome decoration of a mihrab decorated with a flowery vase, the marli decorated with a frieze of rinceaux on an indigo and sky blue background. Signed in blue in french and yellow in arabic. Stamp on the back "faience of mila, algeria". D. 23 cm. Algeria, 20th century. Mohamed temmam did two schools, that of the ornamentation of the traditional arts of old algiers with racim and landscape painter of matisse, in france. After the mohamed fateh communal school (1922-1928) and obtaining his certificate of studies, he attended the ceramics courses that emile soupireau gave at the art school of the rue des consuls; then, until 1936, those of the racim brothers, at the school of fine arts of algiers. Slight shine near the edge. Failure to cook in 2 places.
