We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning Art Deco triple bank wardrobe in burr maple, featuring a large full-length mirror central door, which is part of a small suite. It is a very aesthetic, well-crafted, and decorative piece; the wood grain, patina, and colour are exquisite, and the lines and carved edges are a 100% Metropolitan New York design, truly remarkable. The wardrobe provides ample storage for folded clothes on either side, with a large hanging section in the middle; all shelves can be adjusted in height or removed. We have cleaned, waxed, and polished it from top to bottom; there will be normal patina marks related to age and use. This piece disassembles for easy transport and installation; it features a kind of original flat-pack design as it would naturally be too large to be taken upstairs as is, and it assembles in about 10 minutes with a simple screwdriver, very easy, like Lego. Dimensions Height: 198.5 cm Width: 183.5 cm Depth: 50.5 cm. Please note that all measurements are taken at the widest point. Condition: please refer to the very detailed photos that are part of the description regarding the condition. Please note that vintage and original period items like leather seating will always have a natural patina in the form of creases and wear. We recommend annual waxing to prevent moisture loss, and hand-dyed leather is not recommended to be exposed to direct sunlight for long periods as it dries out and discolours.
