Antique 19th-century mirror with griffins and console table

A very atmospheric set from the 19th century: a demilune console table, partly still inlaid with brass/copper, and a mirror with two griffins in its crest. The mirror glass is original, which enhances the antique look of the set. Both the table and the mirror show plenty of signs of use. Here and there are old woodworm holes; the woodworm was treated years ago and is no longer active. A well-worn pair with original mirror glass and a lovely patina, bringing the atmosphere of the past straight into the home. Lovely in a hallway or sitting room with a classic, brocante or eclectic interior. Dimensions: mirror 90 X 122 cm; console table 100 cm wide, 52 cm deep, 75 cm high.
